The Gyms at New Forest Health and Leisure Centres offer the best  facilities in the local area, with each site boasting the following features:

-The latest Technogym cardiovascular and resistance equipment
-Wellness Technology
-Air conditioning
-Cardio theatre or audio/visual entertainment
-Free weights and designated floor work areas

For your safety and to allow you to get the most out of the facilities an induction is required to be taken by all users. All gyms offer services in Personal Training, fitness testing and GP Referral Schemes.

An 816 Gym is a new concept in getting young people across the Forest more active, effectively it is a fitness facility which can be used by young people. Applemore and Ringwood already has the facility in place providing equipment specifically designed for 8 - 16yr olds and with a qualified instructor around it's the perfect safe environment for young people to get active. Club 816 is an initiative across the 5 Centres where young people aged 8-16yrs can purchase a membership which entitles them to access selected activities and facilities at reduced prices.

All centres offer a well-established Group Exercise Programme, in a range of purpose built studios, which caters for all abilities and tastes, classes include:

-Body conditioning
-Aerobics
-Spin
-Aqua and many more

To compliment these more traditional style classes all the centres offer Mind/Body type classes and courses ranging from Pilates to different forms of Yoga.
